My Yahoo! is the best if you are tracking favorite blogs. The drag and drop format makes it an easy-to-use RSS news aggregator that posts the headlines of your favorite blogs and social networks. The headlines for your subscriptions appear with fresh updates on your My Yahoo! each time you look at it. Make My Yahoo! your browser start page and stay current instantly. It is fabulous!

I am following the ambitious work of my LinkedIn associates in this way. When someone in the brandUNITY network makes a a career update or new connection in their LinkedIN, the RSS feed from LinkedIN posts to My Yahoo! homepage. Create your own PR, target your information.

The RSS feed button on LinkedIN is in the Network Statistics section under the Contacts link. Visit my profile here on LinkedIn and join my network.: linkedin.com/in/brandunity

StumbleUpon is incredible! Install the widget in your browser window, click the icon after setting up your interests, and it will bring you the best of the best in your check list. Click the thumbs-up for sites you love, thumbs-down for mediocre sites, and this helps StumbleUpon filter the best sites to the top of the list for all users with similar interests. It will also save your thumbs-up sites to your account directory in StumbleUpon so you can refer to them later. This is a FANCY technorati!

Here’s something we just found through StumbleUpon: 25 Ways to Watch Free TV Online, a list published by Technobuzz.net Notable, Surfthechannel.com.

Fall TV Premiers on Internet before TV

Hulu.com, owned by NBC Universal and News Corp, will be airing the Fall Line-up of TV Premiers before they are run on TV. Hulu has launched teasers of the new, third season Heroes, and will be releasing a series of other favorites one week before they air on broadcast television.

In the past TV studios have staunchly preferred to stick to the business models of the past — TV first, avoid the internet. That they are now re-considering points to significant, emerging change in internet revenue streams. it will be interesting to see what happens to TV.

Techcrunch suggests this all started with Google’s purchase of YouTube, putting YouTube at the center of Google’s marketing mix plans for interactive media. In May, Hulu was said to have run 88 million videos compared to 4.2 billion for YouTube.

Hulu’s advantages to advertisers are controlled, professional entertainment, readily accessible and specific viewer demographics, and targeting. It’s on our watch list.
