Mobile app Developers: What has been your experience with app sales volume in the Android market?
It was recently suggested to me by another developer that they are only receiving 1-10% of the sales volume of their $1 app in the Android market as they are in iTunes.

Self Publishing Minefield
I am trying to understand a bit more about the self publishing process. I am finishing a series of handouts and a text book. Is there one self publishing service that is better suited to Textbooks and such?
It seems Smashwords is more suited to fiction and non fiction, but less able to handle charts, graphs etc. Is Lulu better suited? What others have people used?
What is SEO? How is it done?
Byline article published, but you only have permission to post a link - how do you get people to stay on your site?
When one of our consultants gets a byline article published in the trade media, we like to post a copy on our website. We seek and usually get permission from the editor. But when the editor says we can only post a link to THEIR site, that takes people away from OUR site.

Website Newsletter. What format?
We just released our first official e-newsletter. It will be sent out to our e-mail list and will also be hosted on our website but I'm not sure what the best format is for the website. The newsletter is only one page and is built in HTML for the e-mail. However, the CMS system we use does not work well with the newsletter coding.
